Constructed from double-twisted hexagonal steel mesh (4.2mm wire, Zn-10%Al-MMO coating, 270g/m²) with 80x120mm apertures, this box unit (2.5m x1m x0.5m) is designed for channelized riverbank stabilization. Units feature reinforced welded corners (5.5mm edge wires) and internal horizontal stiffeners (4.0mm wire) spaced at 1m intervals to retain 150-300mm angular basalt fill. Zinc-coated steel lacing wire (3.4mm) secures panels, while interbox connectors (galvanized D-rings, 6mm diameter) enable modular assembly in cascading revetments. The mesh structure accommodates hydraulic pressures in high-sediment environments, with optional epoxy-coated versions (300μm thickness) for acidic water conditions. Compliant with ISO 10357 for erosion control structures, suitable for scour-critical bends or flood diversion channels.
